Sales Manager / Home Remodeling

Since 1950, Somerville Aluminum, Inc. has specialized in all aspects of home remodeling, including windows, doors, siding, roofing, kitchens, baths, sunrooms, decks and awnings. We are a full-service home remodeling company serving all of Central New Jersey. Our success comes from a strong commitment to customer service, product, and installation, which are second to none. Somerville Aluminum is ever growing and expanding. We continue to experience an increase in sales in all of our areas of expertise. We are looking for a highly organized professional individual who is passionate about management, sales and design. He or she will need to be a creative problem solver and goal driven.

Three years ago we moved into a new 15,000 square foot facility, which features a state-of-the-art showroom.

Job Description:

  • Manage the windows, door, siding, service and outdoor living salesforce in the central New Jersey market
  • Motivate a diverse set of experienced sales professionals
  • Demonstrate expertise with in-home and showroom selling
  • Manage performance issues that arise, as well as hire, train and develop team members
  • Maximize the conversion of leads to sales revenue and generate referral and repeat business
  • Enhance overall sales program with new product presentations and updated selling strategies
  • Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information from the sales team to installation and accounting departments
  • Conduct sales/product training meetings and perform in-home sales presentations with salespeople

Job Requirements

  • Highly motivated and ambitious
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience required
  • Minimum of five years of management experience required
  • Home remodeling and or construction knowledge preferred
  • Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written across different teams and departments
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email/Outlook

Job Description:
We are looking for highly organized professionals that are passionate about design and sales, creative problem-solves, and success driven.

  • Estimate, design and sell full remodeling kitchen and bathroom projects.
  • Work closely with the Production Team as the project moves from inception to completion.
  • Become knowledgeable and proficient with the Bellari Design product lines and sales process.
  • Customer home field measure and evaluate construction details as it relates to each project.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of kitchen/bath sales and design experience.
  • NKBA certification, a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Knowledge of construction and mechanical drawings as it relates to Kitchen and Bath design
  • Professional appearance
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft excel, Word, and Email/Outlook (20/20 design software a plus)
  • Ability to communicate professionally with staff and customers in a courteous, tactful and concise manner
